Rising country artist Lewis Brice is premiering his new song “Nothin’ But the TV On” exclusively for readers of The Boot. Press play above to listen to this fun new ode to a night of “Netflix and chill.”

With an upbeat, pop-country melody and deeply relatable lyrics, “Nothin’ But the TV On” is the perfect song about a couple that’s settled into the comfort of a good relationship. Sonically, it’s a good fit for fans of Sam Hunt, Dan + Shay and Thomas Rhett.

“Nothin’ compares to a night like this / You’re my favorite show I don’t want to miss,” Brice sings on the chorus. “We don’t need to go anywhere / Let’s lay it down and just stay right here / You and me with nothin’ but the TV on.”

Brice co-wrote “Nothing But the TV On” with “buddies” Nick Norman and Ben Simonetti. The singer called the song “a really groovy tune,” and says it’s “the most pop-influenced song I have released.”

“Sometimes there is nothing better than a night at home with the one you care about most,” Brice adds.

The younger brother of country star Lee Brice, Lewis Brice hails from South Carolina and describes his sound as a blend of country, Southern rock and R&B. Fans may recognize him from his brother’s “I Drive Your Truck” music video, in which he plays the lead role, or perhaps the first season of CMT’s short-lived singing competition Can You Duet. Brice was a contestant on the show alongside, among others, Joey + Rory and Kate & Kacey.

Fans can keep up with Brice via his official website. On Nov. 16, he and his brother are set to play the Carolina Country Music Cruise with ParmaleeChris LaneJimmie Allen and Colt Ford.
